Intensives

What is an intensive?

An intensive is for couples who don't want to do those weekly sessions and/or need a jumpstart to a healthier relationship. During an intensive, some of what you will learn throughout the session are communication skills, conflict cycles, intimacy styles, love languages, and compromise.

The intensive can help you connect and grow in your relationship to create that marriage 2.0 even after an affair.

Intensives are a 6-hour (in one day), 12-hour (over two consecutive days), or 15-hour (over three consecutive days) therapeutic approach designed for couples.

During the first three hours, all intensives include an initial couple session and an individual session for each person. The remainder of the intensive will be customized per your Gottman assessment.

Intensive options:

Our 6-hour intensive is two 3-hour sessions on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday (day chosen by the couple) with an hour-and-a-half lunch break.

Our 12-hour intensive is two 3-hour sessions on either Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday (two consecutive days chosen by the couple) with an hour-and-a-half lunch break on both days.

Our 15-hour intensive is one 3-hour session on Friday, two 3-hour sessions on Saturday, and two 3-hour sessions on Sunday. With an hour-and-a-half lunch break on Saturday and Sunday.

An intensive requires a $500 non-refundable deposit at time of booking with the remaining balance due two weeks before appointment.

If you do not cancel or modify the dates of your intensive two weeks beforehand, you will be charged the full amount of your session.
